06 Jul Jack’s Myrtle Beach Surf Lessons – What’s New In Summer 2015?
With our business growing faster than ever, we’ve decided to expand from our Myrtle Beach surf lessons and surfboard rentals and add two more exciting water sports to our quiver this summer. We now have a new fleet of 15 stand-up paddleboards and 10 ocean kayaks for your enjoyment out on the water. Whether you want to take a board or kayak out on your own or even in a guided tour by one of our incredible new water guides, you can expect the same quality experience and passion from our staff but now in a whole new way!
Paddleboarding (SUP’s)
Our brand new stand-up paddleboards are 11ft long, perfect for providing stability and control in just about any conditions. We offer lessons and rentals right here at our home the Springmaid Pier Location on the oceanfront. We offer competitive pricing and a special deal with our rentals, rent for three days, get the fourth day free. We teach lessons in the morning for the best all around ocean and wind conditions and to provide our guest with the greatest memories on the beach. Our scenic tours take place around sunrise and sunset in the historic Murrells Inlet. Paddlers will experience the same waters that pirates such as Blackbeard and Drunken Jack sailed in the 1600’s and 1700’s. Murrell’s Inlet is also filled with local wildlife. Many marine inhabitants feed in the inlet including the very well known bottle nose dolphin. The Inlet is also home to many of South Carolina’s large birds such as the pelican, heron, and egret. The wildlife on the inlet is truly diverse and is the best place to experience our coastal waters.
Kayaking
Our single-person ocean kayaks are one of the most relaxing way to explore our beautiful ocean and inlet. Our kayaks can be rented any day of the week at our Springmaid Pier location for just $15 an hour or $45 for the day; we offer a special deal with every three-day rental the fourth day is free, that’s just how we roll. Paddlers can walk right from our storefront into the water for an experience of a lifetime. Some of the things you might see off of the pier include sea turtle, schools of fish, dolphins, stingrays, and maybe even a shark. Much like our SUP tours, kayak tours take place around sunrise and sunset in the historic Murrells Inlet. The inlet was a favorite for pirates such as Blackbeard and Drunken Jack Murrells of which Murrells Inlet was named after. Hear the stories of legends past all while taking in the serene views and cool summer breezes. We invite you out for an experience unmatched.
